The Biffaward Mass Balance programme seeks to improve information about the environmental impact of resource use throughout the UK. Biffaward has funded more than 30 separate projects as part of this programme.
Mass Balance UK is co-ordinating these projects with the aim of providing the most comprehensive picture of the mass balance of the UK to date. The project is being carried out by Forum for the Future on behalf of the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts.
This website is the central 'hub' for all the mass balance projects and for all resource flow activity in the UK. From this site you will be able to learn about mass balance and why it is so important. You will also find the latest news on the development of the programme, details on the individual projects and be able to access the collated data and find about related work taking place throughout the UK.
