Project Aim
The aim of the project is to evaluate the flow of embodied wood through the major wood using industries in the UK (furniture, joinery, pulp and pulp logs, packaging) and the associated mass balances and impacts of these sector specific flows; and to integrate findings with previous studies on wood in construction and paper in order to evaluate the total impact of the use of wood in the UK.
